As you may – or may not – have noticed, I have re-worked my website to reflect more of what I’m currently about.
From time to time it’s important to revisit not only our personal lives but also our employment, or our business in order to progress. If we stick to the same ‘comfortable’ thing we cannot move forward and, actually, we and our whole surroundings will become stale.
Over the past few years I have, like every ‘thing’, evolved – change is imminent and an integral part of human life and it is vital that we recognise our achievements and/or failures, learn from them, and move forward.
This is not an easy time to be in business and I see many organisations just keeping their head down and rightly so. Especially now, I feel that we should pull out all the stops to ensure a healthy future. This may mean revisiting the core message we are trying to put across as a business.
What were your initial business ideas and values when you first started out? Question these again and remember to stick to those values if you still believe they are what will propel your business forward. If you believe in these still and are able to convey them to your team, you will survive this rocky road that appears to be lasting longer than desired.
Like I said, change is a natural part of life. It’s evolution. And it’s a good thing.
